Hi everyone,
My dog and I had an accident today. For those of you who don’t me well, I own two dogs, one is a year old, and the other is about 9 years old but still acts like a young dog. My older dog loves to play ball. She could play ball 24/7.
I often take them out and play ball with them. Today we played as usual, I often use those chuckits, cause I can’t throw a ball well on my own. Today after a few throws the ball hit her in the eye. She cried and ran to go inside the house. I sat with her and she just snuggled up, with her eye closed. She’s a pretty tough dog so I knew this hurt her. I called the vet and he told me to watch for swelling, redness, pain and if she doesn’t open her eye bring her in. I watched her all day, the winking was on and off, and she and the puppy played together so I figure she will be okay. Tonight she seemed to have her eye opened most of the time but then it closed after a few hours and now it is on and off again. Sometimes you wish your dogs could just talk to you and tell you how they feel. I wish I knew reiki as I had a positive experience with it myself once. If anyone here knows reiki maybe you can send some energy her way.
also any other advice is welcome.

Mel Taylor | | Does your vet know massage reiki? If not you could learn massage for dogs make a deal with your vet and let it be a side profession. Hope your dog feels better.

Cathy Markowich | | Thank you so much everyone, Chyna is all better. She healed much faster then I thought she would. I'm going to throw the ball from now on rather than use that chucker thing. She'll just have to put up with my lousy throws.
