For those of you who don't know I have a petsitting business.
One of my customers has suddenly become ill. He is an Australian Cattle Dog plus, the sweetest dog, so affectionate. Trevor has a brother Duncan, they get along well and I walk them everyday for over a year now. Last Thursday Trevor seemed a little down, Friday was the same. The owners noticed it also. Over the weekend he got worse, his breathing was labored, so they took him to the vet and they did some tests. They found some fluid in his lungs and a tumor in his chest. Trevor is only 2 years old. The owners are upset of course and so am I. This has developed so suddenly, he never showed any signs of illness before. They are going to do a few more tests to decide what to do. As I told the owners tonight when they called, I feel like Trevor and Duncan are my dogs too just living in a different house, I know them so well, and have spent so much time with them. Please keep Trevor in your prayers today, he’s too young for this.
If anyone can send him some positive energy I know it will be much appreciated.

That's what happened to my Golden Boy too. We had a terrible 10 days before I decided he'd had too much pain with no resolution. He couldn't sleep because when he laid down the fluid was pushing against his lungs and heart and he could hardly breathe.
It's a terrible, terrible thing.
I had two Irish Setters too and when one of them died the other dog went into a deep depression. So depression is not something that only happens to people. The family will have to watch for this with their other dog.
I'll keep him in good thoughts and prayers.
